Play day with Tatum!

Carsyn recently went to the theatre for the first time! I took Carsyn and her girlfriend Tatum to see Over The Hedge. Close to the end of the movie Tatum starts saying she wants to go bye bye and of course me being the thoughtful person I am, I talked her into staying until the end of the movie (yes, I am that selfish I wanted to see the end, sorry!!!). I was excited to go to the movies too I hadn't been since I was preganat with Carsyn! I know that's pretty pathetic. So anyway the girls toughed it out-the movie ended with both of them sitting on my lap. As we start to leave Carsyn throws the biggest fit I have ever seen! Seriously!! I mean she was hysterical, she did not want to leave the theatre for anything. She screamed her head off- stuttering and stammering all the way to my parents house (they were watching Hayden). There wasn't anything you could say to calm her down, poor Tatum she didn't know what was going on, neither did I! Anyway, Carsyn finally came around (after crying it out in the car by herself) and her and Tatum ended up having a lot of fun swinging and playing outside.

Oh well, it was my fault. I got too ambitious, thinking I could take 2 three year olds to the movies alone. I thought it would be a piece of cake. Maybe in another year or so. I think the next playdate we will just take it easy around the house or maybe if I am feeling crazy to the park!! :)

They really are a couple of sweethearts and we did end up having a good day! You can still see the after affects of Carsyn's temper tatrum in the photos(puffy eyes and red nose).
