Carsyn had her first Ballet recital titled, Christmas at the Hop! The routine was done to the song, Let's go to the Hop. I hadn't seen a photo of the costumes prior to receiving them two days before the recital but I was picturing some kind of 50's inspired ballet costume with a poodle skirt and cardigan. I was a little shocked to see this hot pink-polka dot ensemble, but Carsyn thought it was the coolest thing. It actually started to grow on me. I was a little nervous for the recital but Carsyn was nothing but excited. I had seen them practice their routine during their normal ballet class and each time it seemed to get worse. But when they had their dress rehersal it all came together, Carsyn did so good I almost cried. I was so proud of her she just got up on stage and did it perfectly. For the recital they had two shows and she was awesome, it was the cutest thing I had ever seen. I couldn't have been more proud, she was fabulous.
After the show Carsyn was onstage with Katherine and Maya, who were in different classes....
