Wind Storm 2007

OK, it really wasn't that bad. At least not at our house. In our neighborhood there really isn't much of a threat from falling trees. But the kids were really excited to spend some time outside being blown around.

It was really kind of weird, the weather was warm and the neighborhood was quite. The kids were really funny, being very dramatic. Carsyn kept yelling, "why isn't anyone helping us"! Just joking around of course but it was cracking me up. It was all fun and games until all of a sudden a big gust of wind came and I got smacked in the face with a leaf. It actually kind of hurt! Yeah, I know I'm a wimp.

We did have a big tree fall blocking our way in and out of our neighborhood. But one of the neighbors broke out his trusty chainsaw (OK, who has a chainsaw??), and took care of it. A couple other neighbors helped and within a matter of minutes the road was clear.
