Carsyn's Christmas Concert

Carsyn's preschool had a Christmas concert. The concert in Carsyn's words, "was to celebrate the birth of Jesus." She is obviously going to a Christian school. It is actually really cute to have her talking about baby Jesus and saying Amen. She isn't learning this at home and I am glad that she is getting a little religious exposure.
Here are some pictures of Carsyn all glamed up for the concert. Yes, she is wearing makeup. She put it on herself. She is so crazy about this red lipstick that I had for a Halloween costume.

Oh my gosh I was so proud of Carsyn. She knew all the words to all 8 songs. Most of them I had never heard of so we learned them together. The school sent home a CD to listen to and we played it in the car and at home all the time, at Carsyn's request. The kids did sign language while singing the songs which was a surprise to the parents. It really was so cute and it always makes me emotional to see Carsyn doing something by herself, well I guess not by herself just without me. She is growing up so fast!!!! :(
