Kla Ha Ya Days!

Tony had to work so I decided to head to the Kla Ha Ya days parade in Snohomish.  My sister and her family were going to be there since Jeni and Cory ran in the Kla Ha Ya days run.  My mom was also in town watching Nina and Zoe.  Brandy was working but Russ decided to head in to the parade too, so it was a family affair.  The weather was perfect and the parade was short and sweet.  Colton surprised me and sat the whole time in his stroller and watched the parade, it was fabulous.  After the parade it was lunch time so we headed to the Cabbage Patch for Breakfast/Lunch-yum, yum.
Kla Ha Ya Days is a big deal in Snohomish.  They close the main street and have booths and events going on.  Of course the kids wanted to do everything but the lines were super long.  We ended up looking around, sticking our heads in some of the shops and then we stumbled on the fire department.  They had set up this line that had like a tether ball on it and two kids went against each other trying to get the ball to a certain point.  It was a hot day and we were just about to head home so the kids thought that sounded like the perfect way to end the day.  Little Russ got in line a ways before the other kids so we went against someone he didn't know but had a blast.
Russell

Soaked.

Carsyn.
Next up was Carsyn against Hayden.  They both had a blast- not caring who won or lost.
Hayden.

And they are off.

Carsyn and Hayden battling it out.

Fist bump.

Soaked but all smiles!

Colton ready for a nap.

Nina's turn.

What a great day!  Too bad Tony missed it!
