Hayden has really been enjoying Cub Scouts. He was so excited to get his uniform. His last meeting they did a presentation in front of the whole pack and he got a patch, he loved it. They had this ceremony where they painted their faces and each color meant something different. There was a potluck and he also received a Christmas gift which was a new Cub Scout t-shirt and his pine wood derby car. I think we have some work ahead of us. This thing comes a block of wood, we are supposed to make a car out of this???? Hmmm....

Hayden's Pack had an outing to a local elderly community to sing Christmas carols for them. Once we got there they informed us that they had misinformed some people on the time so we had to wait around for a bit which didn't go over well with Hayden as you can tell from the picture below.
