Colton and I planned to bring cupcakes for Hayden and his class on the Friday before his birthday. We came to his class bearing cupcakes and ready to sing.

He was able to choose how they sang Happy Birthday to him. There was a bunch of crazy ways they sing it but of course Hayden picked the standard Happy Birthday song.
It was all very cute. After we all sang Happy Birthday to Hayden he got to pick 7 kids to stand around him with their hand together above his head (to look like a candle) and he blew out the candles and the kids fall down.
Then it was time to pick a few other friends to help hand out napkins and cupcakes.
| Everyone had to wait for Hayden to take the first bite. The kids were so excited for him to have his bite. Look at the faces of the other kids in the picture. So funny! |
I had picked up the cupcakes after work the night before the celebration and decided to leave them in the car, one less thing to deal with in the morning. It froze over night and in the back of my head I had hoped the cupcakes were OK. But when the kids went to take the ring off the frosting all of the frosting came off with it. It was so cold it pulled right off the cupcakes. Luckily everyone thought it was so cool.
