Carsyn's 4th grade class had an end of year project which was making a WA State relief map out of dough. Carsyn was so excited about this project. She had weeks to complete it but she came home from school and got started. I was at work so I wasn't even around to help. She mixed all the ingredients and molded the shape and I just had to pop it in the oven when I got home. It had to bake on really low heat for 4-6 hours. She pretty much did it all on her own, I helped using the hot glue gun. She picked all the color and made it bright and colorful. I think it turned out fabulous!!
She actually came home carrying it off the bus because she dropped it on the way to class in the morning. Luckily it landed on the flags, breaking a few, but it didn't break the state. Since she turned it in two days early she still had time to fix it and turn it in on Friday.
Way to go Carsyn!!
