The kids all participated in the swimming program at the local YMCA, Splash Week. The first week or so of summer they offer swimming lessons/water safety 1/2 an hour every day for a week. The kids absolutely love it and look forward to it every year. When I went to sign Carsyn and Hayden up I was surprised to see Colton could do it too. He wasn't super excited but for $10 bucks it was worth a try. He was definitely apprehensive but he did great. He did have one day where he wouldn't get into the pool but other than that he participated and had fun. After the day off from swimming he jumped right back in the pool, with the knowledge that he would get ice cream after. He actually did a sit dive and had a huge smile on his face afterwards. After going completely under he started blowing bubbles and totally getting into it. So proud. As far as the other two go, they did fabulous. The are both getting very confident in the water and improving a ton. Way to go guys!!
