Easter Morning!

The kids were very excited to get up and find their baskets but the big hit this year was the finding of their dyed eggs. The thought it was the coolest thing that the Easter Bunny hid their eggs and got the biggest kick out of finding them.

Then they were off to find the hidden eggs.

The big hit from the Easter Bunny was Moon Sand-who'd of thought??

The kids dressed and ready to go.

Since baby Colton was over a week past due he even got a basket-oops!!

Dying Easter Eggs

After the Snohomish Easter parade the kids were anxious to get home and start dying their Easter eggs. This year we started a new tradition, the eggs the kids dyed they were leaving them out so the Easter Bunny could hide them for them. The kids worked really hard on their eggs, they wanted to impress the Easter Bunny.

Easter Parade

We should have had Colton by now, he is a week past due at this point so we thought why not take the kids to the Snohomish Easter Parade?? I am sure we wouldn't have went to the parade if Colton had been born already since he would be tiny so it was nice to be able to take the kids out for some fun! It was supposed to rain but it thankfully didn't but it was cold. The parade is always really cute-short and sweet!

Tony with Grandma Irene and the kids-waiting for the parade to start.

Me with the kids looking ready to pop!! :)

It was pretty cool there was a local guy who replicated Tow Mater from the movie Cars, it was pretty neat!

We ended up going to the Cabbage Patch for a late breakfast after the parade and the food was awesome. I had a virgin Bloody Mary that was delicious!!
It was a nice pre-baby outing.

Spring/Easter Program!

Hayden's preschool had a Spring/Easter Program and the material centered around trees. The parents were supposed to have them wear green and brown or make them some kind of costume. Being pregnant and due any minute this is the best I could do. We took one of Hayden's brown shirts and he wore brown pants and I cut out a bunch of leaves out of felt that Hayden picked. I realized after I already hot glued the leaves on the shirt that I kind of made Hayden look like a fall tree as opposed to the Spring(new growth) tree....Oh well, I had my baby brain on the job. :)

Here is Hayden posing like a tree in his costume before the performance.

Carsyn and Hayden.

Hayden with Carsyn and Tony still rocking the tree pose. ;)

On stage and ready to go.

Cousin Alyvia ready for the show.

Hayden did awesome he really got into every song.

There was a costume change mid-performance, he is now in a king/wise-man outfit.

I am always so emotional and proud when the kids accomplish something. I had know idea how well Hayden knew all the songs and the moves that went with them. He did so great and we were so proud!!

Beary Nice Week!

In Hayden's class each kid gets a chance to take Beary Nice home for the week. They take a booklet home where they tell about all their adventures with Beary Nice. They also fill out some info about themselves and bring in a poster board with pictures of them as kids and with their family. We had a lot of fun putting together Hayden's poster board, Hayden also liked seeing old pics of himself.

Here is Hayden playing Sissy's DS with Beary Nice.
Snuggled up watching TV.

Having a snack together.

Going on adventure with Carsyn and Dad.
