Tony and I took Carsyn, Hayden and Katherine to the Fair Days Parade. It was
very hot but the kids loved it. They loved the bands, horses, cheerleaders, fire trucks, police cars... pretty much everything. I can't believe how much candy they were giving out, the kids got so tired of getting up for the candy they just picked up the ones right at their feet. Some floats were handing cold water bottles which was really appreciated! Also, one of the local churches were handing out Staples bags full of school supplies. Including notepads, ballpoint pens, erasers, pencils, rulers, colored pens and highlighters. I think I was more excited about that then the kids were. After 1.5 hours the kids were getting pretty hot and tired so we cut it short-but we all had a blast.
I was able to take a couple of random photos before my battery went dead. I am not really good at planning ahead....

We forgot to bring cash but we were able to scrape up $2.00, just enough for them to share a bag of cotton candy....

Look at that sticky mouth.....;)
