My neice Kristen just turned 21 and she wanted to celebrate the occasion in Chelan at her aunt Kims house. So the kids and I ended up driving over Thursday evening after my nephew Kristoffer got off work to go and help Kristen celebrate. The kids did fabulous in the car Hayden slept while Carsyn watched Scooby Doo.Once we got there we relaxed a little and let the kids run around and unwind after being cooped up in the car. Kim made a really cute and delicious fruit and cookie dessert in the shape of 21.

We had gotten Kristen a cocktail shaker, martini glasses and the ingredients to make apple martinis so of course we had to try everything out.
The kids settled down and fell asleep around eleven and Kristen, Kim and I crept out undetected by the little ones. We kind of got a late start so all night Kristen was trying to play catch up and I was going right along with her. I really screwed up because the first place we went we sat down and relaxed outside and for some strange reason I ordered a beer and Kim and Kristen ordered drinks. Kristen wanted to get going and I had just oredered another beer so I ended up downing it. (Beer to Liquor never sicker!!) This was not the best way to start the night!! After that it was shot after shot after shot.... I totally felt in control until the ride back to Kim's place and then it hit me like a ton of bricks. Let's just say I was a hurting unit in the morning. I told my 18 year old nephew I wasn't going to drink again until he turns 21.
Kim was awesome she woke up early (I was awake but moving in slow motion) and offered to take the kids to the park while I slept in. She said she didn't want it to ruin my day!! After sleeping in I woke up feeling somewhat refreshed and ready for the day. We spent the day playing in the pool and playing at the park the kids had a blast.
Tony ended driving over Friday after work and since Kristoffer had to leave on Saturday he was going to drive Tony's car while Tony rode back with me and the kids.
Wow, I can't believe Kristen is 21 man that makes me feel old!
