Bike-A-Thon

Instead of selling puff pastries or wrapping paper Hayden's school decided to have a bike-a-thon. The night before the big event the kids decorated their bikes with streamers and Tony took them down to the dollar store to pick out a special Mylar balloon. The kids were really excited. Since the weather was pretty bad the kids biked-it in the gym. They were so cute to watch. Hayden was so happy every time he rode by he had a huge grin on his face and Carsyn was all business just flying by. They rode for I think 20-25 minutes but they could have gone longer. When they were done and I was helping the kids take off there helmets, Hayden hair was soaking wet, he was really getting a workout.

It has actually worked out really nice for Carsyn since she isn't in school until the afternoon she is able to participate in all of Hayden's fun school activities. Hayden's teachers usually invite Carsyn to stay for class to "help" at least once a week and she loves it!! She always felt cheated when I moved her out of Miss Shelly's class, she really loves her.
