Trips to the Farm

We took a couple of trips to the local farms this fall. We went as a family to the first farm where we went on a hay ride, shot pumpkins with a huge sling shot, checked out the petting zoo, ate kettle corn and of course the kids got their faces painted. The fabulous weather was a great topper for the day.

The hayride...

The lady did an awesome job on their faces. It turned out so cute and the kids loved it!!

Hayden's preschool class had a field trip to a different local farm. We invited Nina and Jeni along which was a lot of fun. Since Alyvia and Hayden are in the same class we were excited to find out that cousins Kristen and Kaitlyn came out to the farm as well. The weather was pretty chilly but that beats rain any day. We all started at the corn maze that ended with a huge slide. Then we checked out all the animals which included some really cute kittens and a rambunctious puppy. Then we were headed off the the hayride which took us the the pumpkin patch where the kids picked out a pumpkin to take home.
Here is Nina and Hayden on the hayride.
