Actually, this first picture is of Carsyn on Christmas Eve. I couldn't get Hayden to pose but they were both so excited for Christmas. They wanted to wear Christmas colors, red and green. We ended up having a great Christmas Eve. We basically stayed at home and took care of business. The kids helped with last minute wrapping along with making spritz cookies for Santa. I am bummed that I didn't take any photos this year of Santa's plate with the notes and pictures the kids made for him. Tony's Dad came over for a nice visit and to exchange gifts. The kids were also able to open one present each, which is always pajamas.
They have this tradition that started last year that they would sleep in Carsyn's bed Christmas Eve. It is so cute even though Hayden hasn't made it through the whole night yet. Last year he wanted to sleep with Carsyn because the idea of some strange man coming down his chimney scared him and he thought Carsyn would protect him. And Carsyn was the one who wanted Hayden out of her bed. This year Hayden woke up early in the morning and wanted to get in his bed, he always sleeps best in his own bed.
Christmas morning the kids were so excited. They couldn't believe all the presents that magically appeared under the tree while they slept.

The kids ready to open.

Tearing into the presents.
