Snow, snow and more snow!!

I know I am a little late but I still wanted to share these photos of the kids enjoying our crazy amount of snow. I actually didn't take too many photos at the height of the snow, by that time I was pretty much over the snow. It is fun at first but when it traps you in your home it gets old quick. We ended up getting probably a couple feet of snow. WOW!!!

Here are some photos of the first night it snowed. The kids, and Tony, were so excited they had to get out in it and play. Tony actually took them around the neighborhood in the sled. Tony is like a kid when it snows its really cute.

The next day the kids had a blast sledding down the side of our house. This was before the big snow fall. I was trying to get a photo of the kids for our Christmas card before the big storm came.
This was the winner!! They were having so much fun! I actually got taken out just before this photo by the kids friend Teagan. That is why they have such big smiles.

This was the first day it really started coming down. We woke up to like 10 inches of snow. It is really hard to get good shots showing how much snow there was it was really crazy. It snowed hard all day long.
Here are the kids practically knee deep in our driveway and loving it.

We decided to take a walk through the neighborhood and of course our first stop was Grandmas house. Irene got out the yard stick to try and measure the snow.

Then we headed down to the park. Look at all the snow on the trees it really was beautiful.

When we got to the park there was another family there that had been working on a sledding track. It was kind of hard to get any speed since there was so much powdery snow, it really needed to get packed down.
Here is Carsyn trying it out. She actually got going pretty well. There were a couple of dogs (on leashes) there so Hayden stayed close to me and wouldn't try sledding.
Look at that smile!!
The kids checking out their trail in the woods.
Some later photos of our deck.
Look at the snow on that chair, amazing.
