Hayden's 5th Birthday Party!

After Carsyn's birthday party, which was just a few days before Hayden's party, I was a little wary and unsure how Hayden's would go. Carsyn's party turned out great but it really wore me out. Tony was going to have to work late and I was feeling a bit overwhelmed. Also, Nina and Alyvia called the night before to cancel. It's been a horrible cold/flu season for us and all of our family. Of course we continued ahead and had Hayden's circus themed 5th birthday party. A while back Russ and Brandy had invited Carsyn and Hayden to the circus with them and I have never heard Hayden talk so much about anything he had so much fun and loved everything about the circus!! So I thought the circus would be the perfect theme.

Lucky for me Brandy was there to help entertain the kiddos and I was also relieved to have Tony come home earlier than expected.

Brandy was like the Ring Master, she was so funny. She had the kids put on a blind fold, make up a circus name, hold a broom and pretend they were walking the tight rope. It was hilarious to watch.
Here is Hayden walking the tightrope.

I had printed out coloring pages with clowns and elephants for the kids to color and I was amazed at how long they sat and colored.
Here they are coloring and watching the tightrope act.

Carsyn with Brynnie.

Little Russ was up next on the tightrope.

Hayden and Macy enjoying the show.

Too funny!!

Even the Mom's were getting a kick out of the show.

Brynnie was up next.

The party table!

Next up Brandy spontaneously put on a clown nose, started blowing up balloons and making hats and swords for the kids.
Not sure what I would have done without Brandy's help!!

I love this picture of me with Macy. Not necessarily the pic. of me but that Macy is hugging me so tight. She was so sweet and I was loving it!! What a cutie pie.

Hayden getting ready to perform the death-defying birthday candle blow out!!

Present time!!

The party turned out great! At the end of the party the McIalwain's stayed to visit and have hot dogs.
Here are our neighbors and friends the McIalwain's.
Teagan, Liam, Kiera and Declan.
