Hayden's Basketball!

We signed Hayden and Carsyn up for Basketball with the YMCA this year. I have never seen Hayden so excited. He was warming up before his first practice by doing lapse around the house. When his first game rolled around he was pumped and ready to go, no forcing him out on the court. (such a refreshing change) We signed Hayden up with the 3's and 4's even though half way through the season he turned 5, not thinking it would be that big of a deal. Especially since Carsyn was signed up for the 5's and 6's team. We couldn't see them playing at the same level. Hayden didn't know how to dribble the basketball or anything. But he turned out to be like a head taller than the other kids on his team. I turns out a couple of them just turned 3 and one of them was only 2 and 1/2. Oh well, I think he was able to learn some of the basics and he will be ready to move up to the next age group next year.
