By the time Hayden's actual first day of Kindergarten came around I thought I would be ready to just kick him out the door and say , see ya later! Obviously, that didn't happen. He is definitely a challenge for me but he can also be the sweetest, kindest, most loving person I've ever known.
Hayden was soooo excited for his first day of school. He was very anxious for 12:30pm to roll around and asked me a million times when it would be time for school. This day he was excited and happy and his attitude was so positive I couldn't get irritated with him asking the same thing over and over and over again. He was most excited about riding the bus. He had gotten the low down from Carsyn and the part that stuck the most was the fact that he didn't have to wear a seat belt, pretty cool!!
Here is Hayden waiting for his bus.

Kindergarten here I come!

AWWWW!! Jerking back tears as I type this. He was so excited but also a little nervous.

Getting off the bus at school.
Yes, Colton and I followed the bus to the school just to be sure he made it there OK. :)

Waiting in line for his teacher.

Could his backpack be any bigger. :)

He was so excited!!

Hayden with his teacher Mrs. Humphries.

And he is off to class.

Colton and I waited around because we knew that cousin Alyvia was getting bused in and would arrive within a couple of minutes. We thought it would be nice to greet Alyvia at school too. We were surprised to find Uncle Rick as Alyvia's personal bus driver. Alyvia was the only one on her bus the first day of school, nice!!

First day of Kindergarten under his belt! He said he loved it. When asked what the best thing about school was he said, " the bus!"
