For Mother's Day we usually go with Dan and Rick and take Irene to brunch and then meet up with my Mom and family for dinner. This year we decided to do something different. Since we are all trying to be more active it made sense to do something active. Jeni did a Mother's day 5k near her house last year and thought we might want to try it this year. Everybody was up for it so we got both sides of the family together for Mother's day. We couldn't have asked for a better day. The weather was absolutely fabulous!! We all met up at Seward park for a 5k walk/run and then headed over to Jeni and Cory's restaurant Pizzuto's Italian Cafe' for brunch. It was a wonderful day!!
