Kennedy Space Center

One of the places we wanted to visit while in Orlando was the Kennedy Space Center.  Tony has always wanted to go and so have I ever since my 8th grade Aerospace class had their trip cancelled.  We were meeting Mamaw and Grandma there and surprisingly we got a head start on them.  Here are some photos of the kids on the car ride there.

The entrance of Kennedy Space Center, pretty cool.

Colton irritatingly enough liked to push the stroller more than he liked to ride in it.

The family.

Hayden practicing landing on the moon.  We all had a lot of fun with it.

Waiting in line for the bus to the launch site.  The kids thought it was pretty cool to see an "astronaut" walk by.

The machine that takes the shuttle to the launch pad.

The "garage" for the shuttle...huge!

I am pretty sure that is the launch site.

The bus/van that transported the astronauts to the shuttle.

Mamaw with the kids.

Grandma with the kids.

He tried to head to Cocoa Beach for dinner but it was dark by the time we got there.  Found a place for dinner and to celebrate Grandma Irene's Birthday.
