My nephew ,Russell, turned 3 this weekend and they celebrated with a western roundup. They arranged for 3 ponies to come for the kids to ride. We were seriously the first ones there. The kids were so excited. The other guests came a little late so Carsyn and Hayden were able to ride as much as they wanted. Luckily, the rain held out and it wasn't cold at all-the weather was perfect!!
Little Russ was the first to go and he went a few times and had a blast.
Here is little Russ with Brandy's hat on. Ride-em Cowboy!!

Here he is trying his hat at the big pony.

Carsyn and Hayden on the other hand couldn't get enough of the ponies. Once their turn was up they would go to the end of the line and wait for their next ride. They even got Carsyn galloping in the center with the big white horse/pony?? She loved it.
Here they both are, Hayden is being lead by their cousin Brieanne.
Here is Carsyn and Nina patiently waiting for their next turn. It took Nina a little bit to get warmed up but once she did she had a blast.

Brianne, Carsyn and Nina.
And the riding continues.
Alyvia is all smiles.
Nina, not looking too sure.
There's the smile.
Carsyn and Alyvia doubled up.
Brianne and Hayden.
The sun sneaked out for part of the day.
Here is cousin Jessica with Nina.

Me, Mom, Jeni and Cory watching the kids.

Brandy and her friend Kim.

Toward the end they let the kids lead the ponies around the pen. Carsyn was even able too, but I didn't get a photo of her. Here is cousin Katie leading Katie the pony.

When the kids weren't riding the ponies they were running around in the pasture pulling each other in the red wagon. They had so much fun!
After over three hours of riding the ponies the kids were finally ready for some cake. Brandy made a really cute cake shaped like a cowboy hat.
Singing Happy Birthday to Russell!!

Present time! Here is little Russ with his ribbon Mohawk.
We all had so much fun! Thanks for a great afternoon Russ and Brandy.
