Tooth #2

Carsyn finally lost her second tooth. Her dentist thought she would have lost it before school started but she was really trying to hang on to it. Or it was trying to hang on to her. Literally, it was just hanging there. Her new permanent tooth was even growing in behind the baby one. I was worried that she was going to have crooked teeth and that she might need to get it pulled but her dentist reassured us that her new tooth would move it's way forward. (and it already has) He recommend the wiggle treatment which Carsyn was opposed to. She really avoided using that tooth as much as possible. So I made it a routine that after we read our stories at night we would each take turns wiggling her tooth. Finally, she gave in and let me actually pull her tooth and it came out. I was shocked by how much it bled but Carsyn said it didn't hurt at all so I was relieved.

Here is Carsyn trying to sleep while her crazy mom is taking pictures of her. Sorry Carsyn!! You can see her little tooth pillow that I made for her. It has a special heart pocket for her tooth. Very crafty I know!
