Mukilteo Beach!

Hayden's preschool class had their end of year field trip to Mukilteo Beach. Since Jacque is supposed to be on bed rest we brought Alyvia along with us. The weather wasn't the best but at least it didn't rain. It was windy but not too cold.

Here are the kids after trekking over the rocks toward the water.

The girls.

Starting to dig and mess around. I didn't realize at the time that there were some big rocks a little further south from us where kids were finding starfish and anemones. Oops, we can check that out next time. The kids didn't seem to mind.

Here is Hayden with the ferry in the background.
The kids having fun just running around by the water with the wind blowing.

The kids exploring the slimy stuff. Alyvia wasn't too much into touching stuff, I can totally relate.

Hayden found seaweed and a shell.
The teachers had set up some pools with water and some sea life for the kids to check out. Crab, starfish, anemones and stuff like that.

I can't believe Hayden is already done with his first year of preschool. I was so nervous when he started. I wasn't sure how he would do away from his big sister who he is crazy about, and he did just fine. Pre-K here we come!!
