Carsyn's 1st day of 1st Grade!

I could not get a clear photo of Carsyn to save my life. Of course I blame the camera, I realized much later that part of the reason for the unclear photos is that my flash was broken. Thank goodness Tony and the kids gave me an early Christmas present of a new camera. So I wont be torturing you for too much longer with my blurry photos.

I can't believe she is already in first grade. It is just flying by!! She was so ready to go, not nervous at all-so she said. She was not loving all of the photos and was anxious to get out to the bus stop.

She got some crazy Sketcher Hi-tops for school this year. I did not like them at all when Carsyn first pointed them out but when she tried them on I really liked them. Yes, the do have different color shoelaces-that was Carsyn's idea to miss-match them.

Finally, she made it on the bus-she's off.

Against Carsyn's wishes we followed the bus to school to make sure she knew where she was going. By the time we got there she was already waiting in line outside of her new classroom. I guess she didn't need my help after all. She is getting so grown up! :(

She is really enjoying first grade. If you were to ask her she would say she isn't but I don't believe her. She complained all of the time in Kindergarten, she said she hated it. Her favorite part of the day is snack, recess and lunch. PE and music are also up there on the list.
