Easter Dinner

After lunch we headed to my Mom's for some Easter dinner.  The kids got some play time while the adults relaxed and visited.  Again, the whether was fabulous so we headed outside.

The kids got there and immediately headed outside to play with their cousins.

Russ with Hayden and Carsyn.  I think Hayden was playing some kind of wild animal(not a huge stretch) while the other kids were trying to wrangle him??  Their feet were disgusting.  I had to help scrub them up in the tub before they could come in for dinner.

Eggs have been hid and the kids are ready to hunt.  They weren't excited at all. ;)

Time for the egg race.  The kids were so excited they got into teams, received and egg and spoon and were ready to go.  They were all so cute but the little ones were hilarious.  We weren't sure how a two and three year old would do but they meant business.  They were so focused on that egg and spoon, so cute.  We thought they would go a few times back and forth and the first team back won, well they just kept going and going, faster and faster.  They decided that the team whose egg broke first lost.  It lasted a while and the kids had a blast.
