A girlfriend of mine, Becky, gave me a huge shock by inviting me to go to see Kenny Chesney and Eric Church at the Centurylink field. Becky has a friend who scored free tickets and she hooked us up. I was so excited to have a girls night out, it's been a long time. The weather was fabulous so we decided to head into Seattle early and have a "few" drinks. We got into Seattle about 2:30pm and thought it was pretty appropriate to hit Cowgirls for some cocktails. It was pretty busy but we had a great time chatting, drinking and people watching. The concert started at 5:00pm so we went to meet up with Becky's friend and her husband at Jimmy's on 1st to get the tickets at 4:30pm. It took FOREVER to get a drink but since it was going to be a while before Eric Church started we decided to hang out for a bit and relax. He got to the concert just before Eric Church started. Our seats were great but we decided to take advantage of some empty seats and actually sat a little closer to the stage. Eric and Kenny were both fabulous. We had so much fun!! Thanks Becky for thinking of me and inviting me, what a blast!
