Carsyn had her graduation from preschool. I actually didn't even know that they were doing such a ceremony for them but it turned out really cute. It was really just suppose to be a spring/end of school concert. Miss Janice said she didn't want to make a big deal about it to the parents because in the past parents had made a big deal in getting gifts for her and she wanted it to be just about the kids. :) Carsyn had been practing her spring songs for weeks for the big day and she was so excited. Hayden had just fought off the stomach flu and Carsyn seemed a little uneasy but with no symptoms except being a little tired. Unfortunately, Hayden got Grandma Irene sick the day of the concert/graduation so she wasn't able to make it. But Poppy and Mamaw were there along with Uncle Danny.
OK, I know she was only graduating from preschool but when we got there they had a slide show going with pictures from the year and the waterworks started. Then the graduation music started and here they come in their little felt caps all sideways, scrunched down and every which way and it was so cute!! I had a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes the whole time. I was so proud of Carsyn!! She had a great Pre-Kindergarten year and she is sadly to say ready for Kindergarten!!
