1st day of Kindergarten!!

Yes, I blubbered like a baby!! My little girl is going off to school, on the bus!! She was so brave, not at all nervous. Actually, I take that back she wanted to sleep with us the night before her first day of school and she never sleeps with us, anymore.

I unfortunately couldn't get her into the morning Kindergarten class so she had to go in the afternoon. Which is working out just fine. It isn't the best since Hayden is in morning Pre-school 2 days a week. I have a lot of running around to do two days a week. It also makes it a pain for helping in Carsyn's class since I can't bring Hayden along I have to find child care. On the other hand Carsyn is excited to help Miss Shelly in Hayden's class. Oh well, I think It will work just fine.

Of course we had a big photo shoot before the bus came. I was double fisted, camera in one hand and video camera in the other.

It was so cute when they got on the bus together. Carsyn said to Teagan, "come on Tea give me your hand" and they walked on the bus hand in hand. That is when the break down happened. Hayden and I proceeded to follow the school bus to their school, me sobbing the whole way.

Carsyn getting off the bus after her first day of Kindergarten!! Note the big smile on her face. It was so funny since she was picked up in a small bus that had seat belts she didn't realize that on the way home she would be on a huge packed bus. The first thing she said was that she didn't have to wear a seat belt and it was really loud. She was very hungry and pretty cranky but she said she had fun. She mainly commented on recess and what they had for snack that day. Every once in a while when I get Teagan and Carsyn together they will give me more information on what they are doing at school. But so far so good!!
