Wow, what a fun way to start off the summer right?? Carsyn's school had a end of year field trip to the Splash park. It really couldn't have been a worse day. Carsyn had remembered that they had said rain or shine and I kept putting it off hoping the weather would get better but it really didn't. We ended up going a little late and there were only two kids from Carsyn's class there. Nathan, Carsyn's little friend from school, was quick to show them how you can open your raincoat over the water shooting up. (which apparently was really fun???) Well it took them all of an hour to be freezing and ready to go. We had totally planned to go back later in the summer but here school has started and we never went back. Oh wait I take that back one of Carsyn's friends had her Birthday party there but unfortunately the day was only remotely better. It was only sprinkling but it was windy. For the party they actually donned swimsuits for about 15 minutes before we left. Oh well, there is always next summer.
