Christmas's have been very hard since my Dad passed away but we always try and keep a happy and festive mood for the kids sake. This year we did something different. We spent Christmas Eve at Mamaw's house. I thought it was fabulous! We headed over to her house early and spent the day snacking, opening presents and playing. It was relaxing and so much fun. No urgency to leave or be anywhere else, it was fabulous!! The kids loved getting to open presents before Christmas too.
