Hayden's class had a very cute underwater/fish themed Spring concert. Hayden was so excited but very nervous. This is the first time he requested to have a speaking part. Most of the concerts are more of a little show with a story and speaking parts for the kids. I had noted that Hayden only wanted a very small part. So his part consisted of about 4 lines. Once he decided to do it he immediately regretted it. I just kept encouraging him and he practiced his lines and had them totally memorized.
He told me not to laugh after he said his part and to tell other people not to laugh. OK??? Anyway, I told him I wouldn't laugh but didn't really feel the need to spread the word.
Here is Hayden, he was a seahorse so he is wearing kind of a cow skin western style vest.
It was pretty cool that they combined Hayden's class with his cousin Alyvia's class. We were able to watch them both preform.
Hayden singing along and doing all the hand motions. Very cute!
Hayden up front and in line getting ready for his lines.
Hayden's turn, and he did great. He kind of rushed through it but he was very loud and clear. I seriously was so proud of him. It was a big deal for him. :)
After his lines he immediately went back to his spot looking very shy/embarrassed with his head down. That only lasted a few seconds and then he was back to normal.
It was very cute. All the kids did great. Alyvia had a lot of lines and she did fabulous as well. So proud of those kiddos!
